About Us

During the 1970s, our founder, journalist Raúl Duque Espinoza (1928–2002), conceptualized a business project aimed at meeting the information needs of the emerging but thriving Chilean export sector. At that time, in a world whose most sophisticated communications were dominated by Cable Messages and Telex, PriComReit Ltda. was born.

Our first clients received our reports through manual mail, and their preparation was slow and dependent on the computational and communication capabilities of third parties.

In the 1980s, with the popularization of the fax and the computer, our services became more dynamic, opening up a series of possibilities unimaginable until that moment. PriComReit created its own processing capacity and began to enrich its services.

A new challenge emerged during the 1990s; with the advent of the internet, a new wave of opportunities reached our company, opening up the international market.

Today, in a context where competitive advantages lie neither in communications nor in data processing, and where creativity and innovation are the main differentiating aspects, PriComReit revitalizes its commitment to serve its clients and support their decision-making.

Our Founder

Raúl Duque Espinoza was born in Chillán, Chile, in 1928.

At the age of 13, he moved to Santiago and began working as a messenger at the publishing company El Mercurio.

After several years of learning, he started working as a writer and reporter for international agencies such as AP and UPI.

During the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, he reported on vast national and international news sectors, covering sports, politics, and more.

Eventually, his interests led him to specialize in the economic sector.

In 1980, he assumed the General Management of the Reuters News Agency, and in the early 1990s, he led operations for the American online economic data company, Telerate Inc.

He dedicated his final working years to PriComReit Ltda
